We have a community school that changed the contract start date. Payroll was already processed for 8/1-8/15.  The payroll dept was notified today that the contract start date was moved back to 8/12. How do they process payroll today? What do they need to do to make sure that the days paid & retirement days are correct?

What they can do so they get credit for the retirement days, in the employee's Work Calendars, they will need to add W's to 3 days on a weekend. for example:

08/17/2013
08/18/2013
08/24/2013

Then when payroll is ran from 08/16/2013 - 08/31/2013, these 3 days should be added for the teachers in their days worked field on the JOBSCN.  The employee days worked and the amount earned will be updated accordingly.  Just remember that when they are finished running the payroll, they will need to remove those W's from the Saturday and Sunday dates on the calendar.
