How to post an attachment to this site?

O.K... insert "long exhausting sigh here".  Yesterday... when I posted the question about what I referred to as FINSUMM-PLUS... this very screen I'm looking at now... I tried the "Link/Image" - above.  It looked like it would let you do a "browse" to your PC folders (that I did)... and it let me select the PDF that I wanted... it failed... several times.  So then... I tried the "poor man's" way... of just "cutting" the TWO WHOLE pages I wanted to insert... I pasted it below my question... it appeared - like it should have... but when I hit "Ask question" below... it disappeared.  So now... question is... what's the best way of doing this?

As Melissa mentioned the software is not intended for attachments.  It allows embedding of images and YouTube videos, but not real attachments.   It's also not good at "pre formatted" text, so you can't paste blocks of text into the editor.

However, you can post links. There are plenty of ways to  post public documents (for free) and then link to them. is handy for posting blocks of text.   Services like Dropbox or Google Drive can be used to post public documents (of any type).

For example, I have a folder in my Drive account where I put "attachments" that I save "forever", like: Sample Rules. This takes and extra step or two but isn't too much hassle for the number of times it's needed.

Dave: Thanks... I think what was "throwing" me was the appearance... like it was working... then it really didn't. Carol Vansickle of our staff had the "full version" of Adobe tools and just converted it to a JPG image... and I popped it into my original post. Thanks again. Jeff C.

It appears that the site has no facility for adding attachments, other than images.  I believe you will need to convert what you want to include into a .jpg file and then click on the image link and proceed with browsing to your pc folders as you did before.  I'm going to give it a try here, just to confirm it actually works (you can just ignore the actual screenshot posted, it's just one I already had laying around).
